Electronics, computing, and software giant Apple, makers of the iPhone and iPad, recently announced that  they  were able to extract over one ton of gold from discarded electronics last year. Apple, sharing a similar concern for environmentally sound mobile device recycling as SF Cellular, attributes this amazing reclamation to its “Liam” robots, which can disassemble and sort iPhones into separable components for recycling.
